Signs it’s time to replace

  • Spark is weak, yellow or jumps somewhere other than the burner
  • Cracked white ceramic insulator
  • Tip is burned back or covered in carbon
  • Burner lights then goes out (flame not sensed)

Tip: Set the spark gap to spec when you install it. Clean the burner tube at the same time.
