Can I replace an Atwood water heater with a Suburban?
Often, yes. Suburban’s SAW Advantage line is sized to replace 6-gallon Atwood and Dometic units. Other swaps may need a different door or an adapter. See the replacement guide.
Should I get gas only or gas/electric?
Gas/electric (DE or GEA) models can run on shore power and save propane at campgrounds. Gas-only models cost less and draw no 120V power.
