The Suburban 261617 Vent Cap is an OEM exterior exhaust vent designed for select Suburban tankless / on-demand RV water heaters installed in RV sidewalls measuring approximately 1 to 2 inches thick. It provides the proper exterior termination for the water heater’s combustion exhaust system and is an important part of a safe, complete installation.

The 261617 is the 2-inch vent version in Suburban’s vent-cap family and is commonly used with the Suburban IW60 Nautilus / Advantage on-demand water heater.

Wall Thickness Fitment

Suburban offers different vent-cap lengths based on the thickness of the RV sidewall:

• 261616 – for approximately 0" to 1" wall thickness

• 261617 – for approximately 1" to 2" wall thickness

• 261618 – for approximately 2" to 3" wall thickness

The correct vent length is important because the exhaust system must terminate properly through the RV exterior wall.

What the 261617 Vent Cap Does

The 261617 passes through the RV sidewall and provides the exterior termination point for combustion gases produced by the water heater.
