Direct Spark Ignition

The SW10D uses a 12V Direct Spark Ignition system.

When the water heater is switched on, the control system automatically:

• Opens the LP gas valve

• Produces spark at the burner

• Ignites the propane

• Monitors the burner flame

• Shuts the burner down once the thermostat is satisfied

There is no standing pilot flame to light manually.

Propane-Only Operation
